The best fit starts with an accurate measurement. Feet can change over time, and one foot is often slightly larger than the other, so measure both feet before choosing a size.
What you will need
- Two sheets of paper
- A pencil held upright
- A ruler or measuring tape
- The socks you expect to wear with the shoes
Measure in five simple steps
- Measure late in the day, when feet are naturally at their fullest.
- Place the paper on a hard floor with one edge against a wall.
- Stand with your heel lightly touching the wall and your full weight on the foot.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe. Repeat for the other foot.
- Measure from the paper edge to the farthest mark and use the larger result.
Width and fit
Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of each foot without pulling it tight. If you are between sizes, have a wider forefoot, or plan to wear thicker socks, the larger size is usually the more comfortable choice.
Before you order
Compare your measurement with our Size Guide and remember that construction, toe shape, and materials can affect fit. Try new footwear indoors on a clean surface first so it remains eligible under the applicable return policy.
